Social Login

With social login, you’re able to sign in to Transifex using an existing account from LinkedIn, Google, GitHub, Facebook, or Twitter and not have to enter your Transifex username and password each time you wish to log in.

If you have a Transifex account

To connect your existing Transifex account to a social account:

  • In the main navigation, click on your profile image.

  • From the dropdown menu, select User Settings

  • In the left menu, click on Social login.

  • From the list of available services, click on the one you’d like to connect with.

  • You’ll be asked to log in to that service and grant certain (limited) permissions to Transifex.

Once authenticated, you’ll be redirected back to Transifex. Next time you sign in, you’ll be able to use social login.

If you don’t have a Transifex account yet

To sign up for Transifex using a social account:

  • On the signup page, click on the social service you’d like to use to sign up for an account.

  • You’ll be asked to log in to that service and grant certain (limited) permissions to Transifex.

Once authenticated, you’ll be able to redirected back to Transifex to finish the signup process.

Note

You’ll need to have a password in order to use our API or client. If you signed up for Transifex using one of the social login options, then you won't have a password for your account. To set a password for your account, click Forgot password on the Signin page and complete the password reset process or contact our support team
